We went out to dinner to the Chesapeake Room on 8th Street on Capitol Hill. Of course I had a cocktail--a Sweet Emily. Here is the description: House-infused lemon vodka, muddled strawberries, fresh lemon juice, and a dash simple syrup. Ironically, it wasn't that sweet at all. It was kind of bland. Oh well. At least it was pretty. The food was good though.
