China Wall is a Chinese carryout restaurant on 8th Street near Eastern Market. It is our go-to place for cheap, delicious Chinese food. When we call in, they know our usual order so well, they finish our sentence for us. It was Sweet and Sour Chicken with pork-fried rice for Shane and Broccoli in Garlic Sauce with white rice for me.
Recently, we got the bad news that China Wall has lost their lease and will be closing at the end of the month. They are going to be opening a Chipotle restaurant in its place. I do have to say that I love Chipotle, but we will miss China Wall. Luckily, there are lots of similar Chinese take-out places around.
